Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight round match which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the pair confronted each other to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex twice unified title holder Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I will damage his features and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will seriously aim to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
Despite such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - usually famous for his dramatics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British rival Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he's present here," the boxer said.
"I respect him for that."

In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.

Nevertheless, the relative newcomer is still one of boxing's largest financial successes, frequently receiving massive financial rewards.
